Colorado; Thursday, November 12, 2021 With saddened hearts, we, her family, would like to all to know our dear sweet wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:45 am. November 8th, 2021 at Penrose Community Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO, with loved ones at her side. Pat was born in Hugo, Colorado on June 16th, 1941 to Amelia and Nicholas Lehnerz. In life, Pat loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed camping and arrowhead hunting trips. Pat was an accomplished artist; her family and friends have been honored to receive many of her paintings and ceramics. She was a wonderful cook. She is well known for her cherry fudge, a recipe handed down from her mother. She enjoyed traveling across the USA as well as Europe and Italy. Pat loved the true meaning of Christmas. Her house was always warm and welcoming. She kept her house adorned with over 100 Charles Dickens Village houses that her family and friends on any visit, can enjoy the magic of Christmas at any time of the year. She has also been known to keep her Christmas tree up all year long. She leaves a void that can never be filled. Pat was a member of P.E.O. She worked and retired as a clerk at the County Clerk's Office in Alamosa after 26 years. Husband, Dave of 61 years; sons, Charles and John; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Lucille Philips, Dorothy Elliott, Connie Smith, Lauri Gair and Debbie Eagle; one brother, Jerry Lehnerz; with numerous other family members and friends she loved very much. A Mass will be conducted at the Sacred Heart Church in Alamosa, Colorado on December 17th, 2021 with a reception to follow. Burial will be in the Alamosa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you may donate in her name to a charity of your choice.
