John M. Kammermeyer - 1939 – 2017, age 78 of St Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. John was born in Rail Prairie Township Minnesota, the 2nd youngest of 16 children. John graduated from Little Falls High School, served honorably in the in the United States Air Force and attended the University of Minnesota. He married Muriel Kammermeyer (Wolterman) and resided in Burnsville, Minnesota where they raise their daughters Karen, Kristen and Karel. John was a loving and devoted Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. His family and his faith were most important to him, he enjoyed his career and worked for Kurt Manufacturing for 43 years. John is survived by his daughter Kristen Dougharty (James): grandchildren Stella, Kathleen, Quinn, Devin and Darren Dougharty; daughter Karel Kammermeyer (Bill): grandson Jacob Kammermeyer (McKenzie); brothers and sisters, Leo Kammermeyer (Susie), Richard Kammermeyer (Trudy), Kate Brynarski (Ray), Marie Cunnien and Elaine Kammermeyer. He is preceded in death by daughter Karen Kammermeyer; parents John and Stella Kammermeyer; and brothers and sisters: Henry Kammermeyer, Helen Moran, Edward Kammermeyer, Herb Kammermeyer, Sally Nelson, Frank Kammermeyer and Margaret Ward. Brothers in law: Ivan Moran and Thomas Cunnien.
