Bio

Born July 27, 1953 in Velma, Oklahoma to Clyde and Jewel (Ash) Loftis, Linda attended Chelsea school where she graduated. On December 22, 1975 she married Ronald Busby and the couple made their home in Claremore. Linda returned to the class room at RSU, where she earned her degree in nursing. She worked Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit, taking care of premature babies. Linda later worked for Claremore Regional Hospital for over 2 years before moving to Claremore Indian Hospital, retiring after a 20-year career there. When Linda wasn't busy working, she enjoyed reading a good book and learning new recipes to cook for her family. She also loved traveling and the occasional trip to the casino. Her stature might have been small, but her heart was as big as her personality. Those family members that survive include her husband, Ronald Busby; her daughter Victory Arnold Gorman and husband Keith; her grandchildren Lindsey Buzzelli and husband Anthony, Kelsey Brown and husband Nick, and Dallas Gorman; her brother Russell Loftis. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
