Funeral services for Gaylon Colwell, 90, of Huntington were held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2005 in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Rev. Thomas Windham and Rev. Jackson Colwell officiating. Interment followed in Cochran Cemetery. Mr. Colwell was born on March 24, 1914 in the Ora Community of Angelina county, TX to the late Ellie and Matthew Colwell and died on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in a local hospital.
