Velda A. Sallis (Pipkins) Monday, October 12th, 1931 - Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 Velda A. (Pipkins) Sallis was born on October 12, 1931 in Ozark, Arkansas to William Robert and Josie Ella (Green) Pipkins. She passed away on January 11, 2022 in Sherwood, Arkansas at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Greg W. Sallis; her brothers, James Price Pipkins, Owen Pipkins, and Paul Pipkins; her sisters, Vivian Highfill, Winnie Highfill, Faye Roble, Helen Mitchell, Lexie Wyers, Otha Wyers, Vola Parker, and Dorothy Pipkins. She is survived by her sons, Guy W. Sallis and Gerald W. Sallis and her 4 grandchildren. A graveside service is 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 17, 2022 at Kendall Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas with Revered Amos Pledger officiating.
