MOBEETIE - Nettie Henderson Walker, 85, died Tuesday, June 30, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church of Mobeetie with the Rev. Gary Jahnel officiating. Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mrs. Walker was born in Ringling, Okla., and moved to Mobeetie in 1928. She was a homemaker, a charter member of Totty Quilting Club and First United Methodist Church. She married Pierce Walker in 1930 at Hobart, Okla. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jimmy Walker of White Deer; a daughter, Aline Corse of Mobeetie; a sister, Nadine Jones of Brawley, Calif.; a brother, Claude Henderson of Covington, La.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter. The family requests memorials be to First Methodist Church of Mobeetie.
