Bio

She was the daughter of Manning and Nancy Sailor Tuggle of Gwinnett County, Georgia. She married Charles Hampton Lamb. MARCY — Mrs. Charles Lamb, 87, River Road, died Friday at the Mountain Top Nursing Home, Watchung, NJ, after a long illness. The former Etta Tuggle, she was born Feb. 22, 1884, in West Jefferson, Ala., daughter of Manning K. and Nancy Sailor Tuggle. She was educated in West Jefferson. Mrs. Lamb had resided in Marcy for more than 30 years. Mr. Lamb died in 1957. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Charles Lamb, New Hartford; three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Williams and Mrs. Flora Badger, both of New Hartford, and Mrs. Frieda Kopacki Kearny; a sister, Miss Lucy Tuggle, Lollar, Ala.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Interment will be in Carr Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Saturday Evening, April 24, 1971
