Bio

Mary Isabel Walker, was 9 years old when her mother died and she lived with her father for a year before he died. Then she lived with various relatives. Mary Isabel Walker was my great-grandmother. (I am Jo Jan Seitz Nunley.) After marrying her husband, Julius LaFayette Seitz, the couple lived in Montague County, Texas, for approximately 15 years, where they lost several young children. They then moved to Hardeman County, Texas. In 1923, they moved to Mobeetie, Texas, and later bought their farm there where they lived out the rest of their lives. After her husband died, she lived primarily with her daughter and son-in-law, Bessie Lillian Seitz Galmor. Death certificate lists cause of death as mitral regurgitation and duration of illness as 1 year. She died in the Wheeler Hospital after a stay of 3 days.
