DANIEL THOMAS BLAHA, Sr. 87, of Taylor, formerly of Granger passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011. He was born October 25, 1923 in Granger, Texas to Joe F. and Louise (Labaj) Blaha. He married Sadie Machu on November 29, 1949 and their marriage lasted 61 wonderful years. They lived in Granger where he was a farmer and worked at the Livestock Auction barn in Georgetown and Taylor. Later they moved to Taylor where he was a self-employed carpenter. He loved gardening, being with family and visiting with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Katherine Blaha and nephew, Greg Machu. Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Condra Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will start a 7PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 14, at 2 pm at Taylor Brethren Church with Rev. James Hejl officiating. Burial will follow in Granger Brethren Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Condra Funeral Home.
