Bio
Mary Kathleen Love, 68, died December 12, 2007, after having experienced numerous health problems for many years. She was born in Salt Lake City on December 27, 1938, to LaPreal and Lloyd Love. She graduated from St. Mark's Hospital School of Nursing in 1961 and later attended the University of Utah where she undertook additional studies in nursing and pursued her passion for the fine arts. She was employed as an R.N. for over 30 years. After debilitating arthritis forced Kathleen's early retirement from active nursing, she focused on her avocation, painting. She was much admired for her remarkable talent. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Lloyd N. Forster; and her sisters, Gloria Peters and Barbara Love. She is survived by her step-brother, Dan Forster; her nieces, Stephanie Jett, Michele Foster, Holly Lewis, Kimberly Streeter; and her nephew, Robert Schick. She is also survived by her special cousin, Lowell Perkins and his family. Kathleen will be interred with her parents at Larkin Sunset Gardens, at a Private Memorial Gathering. At her request, there will be no services. Published in the Deseret News on 12/23/2007.
