Newspaper Story, Nov 21, 1929 TWO KILLED WHILE ROBBING STORE AT POOLVILLE While robbing the Majors general store at Poolville, Oklahoma, 20 miles west of Davis, Monday night, WALTER GINN, 20, and MAX LIVENGOOD, 24, were shot and killed by L. O. MAJORS and his son WALLACE. A third member of the party, MARION WILLIAMS, 20, is in jail at Seminole. As the lights in the store were turned on, an engine at the Majors home nearby was started. Majors and his son grabbed their guns and rushed to the store where a general exchange of shots was had and, in the end, two of the robbers were killed. GINN was a son of JOHN GINN. LIVENGOOD and WILLIAMS live at Seminole. The attempted robbery occurred about midnight. The Majors store had been robbed four times the last 18 months. (Note: Marion Williams was pardoned.)
