He married Margaret Meeks on December 5, 1964, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Slaton, Texas. They were happily married for 56 years and were blessed with three wonderful children. By the late '60s, the Vietnam war was raging. Knowing that he would soon be drafted, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Following basic training, he was stationed in Illinois to train as a jet engine mechanic. He was later stationed at Dyess Air Force Base and also in Okinawa, where he was responsible for a fleet of C-130 aircraft. Upon his discharge from the Air Force in 1970, he was offered a job with then Bell Helicopter. He declined and moved back to West Texas to farm. As a lifelong farmer, Frank grew cotton in multiple counties over the Southern High Plains for more than 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Sehon; sister, Mary Francis Brittain; and brother, Roy Lee Sehon.
