Joclyn Janice 'Jan' Porter went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2007. Following a forty year career in the field of Accounting, Jan spent her time cooking, drawing, creative writing, and being with family and friends. Jan was born in Ardmore, OK on November 22, 1928 and was preceded in death by her father, Grayson W. Jones and mother, Willie P. Jones. She is survived by her loving family: son, Dr. Grayson D. Phillips and wife Peggy of Dallas, TX; daughter, Kimberley Jan Terry of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Grayson D. Phillips, Jr. and wife Lainey of Edmond, OK, Lindsey Wimer and husband Eric of Norman, OK, Allison Phillips of Norman, OK, Kristin Williams of New York, NY, Jake Williams of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Sierra Smith and Jocelyn Wimer. Jan is also survived by her beloved Pug, Madyson, and many dear friends. To our Mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother and Friend...We will always love you and miss you, but will meet again when you 'welcome us home'. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jan's memory may be made to The American Lung Assoc. or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
