Bio

Mrs. Long, a member of High Point Baptist Church, was born in Marshall County to the late Jesse N. and Dolly Horton. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband, Roy Edward Long of Horton; one brother, Travis Horton of Dallas; two sisters, Juanita Rosson of Gadsden, and Zimma Turner of Albertville; and one son-inlaw, Charles Gaut, preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters, Judy L. Gaut, Dorothy L. Simmons and her husband, Bill, of Huntsville, and Kathy L. Brewster and her husband, Henry, of Union Grove; granddaughter, Leslie N. Brewster; two brothers, Bill Horton of Dallas, and Wayne Horton of Huntsville; and three sisters, Emma Horton of Gadsden, Colleen Horton and Loudeen Whatley of Franklin, Texas.
