Barbara Sue Massie McCullough, age 75, of Hamden, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born February 5, 1946 in Huntington, West Virginia, daughter of the late Eddie B. Dawson and Myrtle Opal Muncy Dawson. Sue retired as a seamstress from Kuppenheimer Manufacturing Co. in Wellston and later was employed at Michelina's in Jackson. She enjoyed sewing, making crafts, working in her home and flower gardens, and taking care of her many animals, especially her cats. Sue attended Puritan Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Steven Massie, Danny Massie, Angela Post (Scott) and Shane Massie (Michelle); grandchildren, Corey, Cody, Amberly, Lacey, Chelsey, Haley, Shaylie, Taylor, Deion, Shane A. and Bailey; siblings, Ronnie, Sharon, Julie, Debby and Dolly; along with 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Jim McCullough; siblings, Tony, Bill, Norris, Kenny, Patricia and Brenda; and a great-granddaughter. Calling hours will be Thursday, December 9th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday, December 10th, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamden Cemetery.
