Published in the Athens Review October 21, 1948 Funeral services for James L. Grant, 76, of Turney, Cherokee County, who died in a Jacksonville hospital Friday after an illness of two weeks, were held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock in Jacksonville. The services were conducted by the Rev. M.A. Brooks, and interment was near Montalba. Among the survivors is Mrs. Roy Daniels of Athens, a daughter.
