Mark Sartain of Jackson Baptist in Joaquin, Tx will officiate. Burial will follow in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Our sweet little mama is at peace now. She fought a long hard battle with cancer the last 4 years. She passed away surrounded by her family at T. Boone Pickens Center-Faith Presbyterian Palliative Care & Hospice in Dallas, Texas on November 27, 2021. She was born to Homer and Minnie Cameron on August 27, 1940, in Blue Ridge, Texas. She later attended school in Whitewright, Texas where her classmates nicknamed her Sugar. She met Jesse Lois Terry from Van Alstyne, and they were married on April 8, 1957, and together they raised 4 girls and a boy. Her early work history began at TI in Plano until she and Jesse left the corporate world for the wide-open spaces of a wheat field, custom harvesting in way too many states to list. As tiny as she was, she was the strongest woman we know. She loved Elvis, playing bingo, and Dr Pepper! She had a lot of talents that included sewing and cooking as well as being the main caregiver for friends and family as needed. Her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren were everything to her. She was at every program or sports event that she was able to attend. She was preceded in death by her parents Homer & Minnie Cameron, her husband Jesse Terry, sister Pearl Goodwin and brothers Bob and Jack Cameron, sons-in-law Noel Cook and Jimmy Foret. She is survived by daughters Debbie Foret and Ben Evangelist of Sherman, Tx; Penny Davidson and husband Mike of Whitewright, Tx; Tanja Braddock of Collinsville, Tx; Tina Engle and husband Mark of Sherman, Tx; and son Jesse David Terry of Allen, Tx. She is also survived by her sister Pauline Edwards, sister-in-law Hazel Cameron, brother-in-law Bobby Edwards and numerous nieces and nephews.
