Virgil Nelson Tipton, age 84, of Pigeon Forge, formerly of Vinemont, Alabama, passed away Saturday, November 27th, 2021. Virgil liked to go fishing, walk trails, and look at old cars. He also always enjoyed sitting on his front porch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Toni Irene Tipton; father, Ed Tipton; mother, Allie May Long. He is survived by his children, Robert Tipton (Pam), Wanda Briscoe (Tim), Billy Tipton (Tab), James Tipton (Vanessa),and Chris Tipton (Jennifer); 23 grandchildren.
