OBITUARY FROM THE SHREVEPORT JOURNAL, Shreveport, Louisiana, Monday, August 4, 1975 CARLOS LEE COKER LONGVIEW, Tex.--Services for Carlos Lee Coker, 48, were scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Welch Funeral Home with the Rev. Cleatus Speed officiating. Burial was to follow at Auguier Cemetery at Birthwright. A former barber and WWII veteran, he was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in White Oak. A native of Posey, he was employed by a Kilgore drilling company. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Pamela Beth Lacase; two sons, 2nd Lt. Carlos D. Coker of Atlanta, Ga., and Jamie Lee Coker of Longview; his mother, Mrs. Emel H. Gotcher of Fort Worth; his father, T. Elmer Coker of Klondike; a brother, Thomas Eugene Coker of Fort Worth; two sisters, Dorothy Joan Coker Jackson of Commerce and Sharon Kay Gotcher of Fort Worth; two step-sisters, Mrs. Lynda Ballard of Deport and Mrs. Shirley Ripley of Commerce; a grandchild; two nieces and a nephew.
