Services for Linda Lynn Langston McKinnie, 80, of Tyler, Texas, will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11am at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Fields Chapel Cemetery in Palestine, Texas, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. McKinnie passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Tyler, surrounded by family. She was born July 29, 1945, in Palestine, to Oda Barton Langston and Jettie Evie Gibson-Langston. Linda was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church of Tyler. She graduated from Centerville High School in Centerville, Louisiana in 1963. After graduating high school, Linda moved to Tyler and went to Business School. She married Tommy Ross Graham in 1965. They had three daughters and were married for 19 years. In 1997, she married Robert McKinnie, and they were very happy until his death in 2002. For about the past 40 years, she has worked as an Interior Designer/Decorator, which was her passion. But nothing has ever been more important to her than her family. Linda never met a stranger. She showed nothing but love to everyone around her. She was the best Mother and Mami that anyone could possibly have. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McKinnie, her parents, O.B. and Evie Langston, and her siblings Delbert Langston and Jeanette Hennigan. She is survived by her loving family including her siblings, her three daughters and their husbands, her eight grandchildren and their spouses, and five great-grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 9:30am to 11am, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., in Tyler.
