"John Lyle Wilson, 84, southwest Kansas City, died Sunday at Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Iowa and had lived in this area since 1947. Mr. Wilson was a bookbinder before he retired. He was a member of Cherokee Christian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Theresa Wilson of the home; a son, LaVern Wilson of California; a stepson, William B. Corbley of Kansas City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Norma Jean Pfeiffer of Leawood; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mount Moriah Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Leukemia Society of America, Inc."
