Saint Elmo Murry King Funeral services for Saint Elmo Murry King, 413 N. Wells, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wells Street Church of Christ with Steve Trig [sic], minister of Borger Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery under direction of Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home beside his wife who preceded him in death in Feb., 1940. Mr. King died yesterday afternoon in a local hospital following a long illness. He was born Oct. 16, 1871, in Gainesville. Mr. King moved to Mobeetie in 1907 and to Pampa in 1940. He married Mary Louise King May 3, 1897. Mr. King was a member of Wells Street Church of Christ. Surviving are four sons, Henry King of Pampa, Lee King and Murry King, both of Amarillo, and Johnny King of Inyokern, Calif.; three daughters; Mrs. Bessie Adcock of Pampa, Mrs. Myrtle Adcock of Seminole and Mrs. Curtis Reams of Delta, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Scott of Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Liddie Rubrert of Roff, Okla.; one nephew, Chester Potter of Pampa and 12 grand-children and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mr. King's grandsons.
