Luneal Lear Jackson, the daughter of Barnett and Josephine (Jacobson) Olson, was born in Polk County, Nebraska, on July 26, 1908, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 31, 1994, at the age of 86 years, and 5 days. She grew up and received her education in Polk County, and on July 26, 1927, she was married to Jess. B. Jackson, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1990. They lived in Aurora all their married life. Luneal was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aurora, and belonged to the church circle. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Jess Jackson and his wife Mary Anne, of Aurora; 2 sisters, Evelyn Thams of San Dimas, California, and Dorothy Karlson of Lincoln; 2 grandsons, Captain Christopher Jackson, United States Air Force, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Patrick Jackson of Tokyo, Japan; one great grandson, Alexander Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.
