Bio
Ronnie Keith Dean was born January 7, 1950, in Austin, Texas, and passed away on September 8, 2018. He was born to Monroe (MJ) and Myrtle Dean and was a life-long resident of the Austin area. Ronnie graduated from Lanier High School in 1968. Ronnie served as a Sergeant in the Air Force from 1968-1974. After serving, Ronnie spent many years working in the construction trade. He started out as a member of the Carpenters local. He then worked alongside his father for many years at MJ Dean Equipment and then managed RK Dean Excavation until his health forced him retire early. Ronnie loved the outdoors spending time hunting, fishing, camping, and kayaking. He loved watching baseball and could talk about sports for hours. In his younger days, Ronnie loved to entertain and was the life of the party. He was preceded in his death by his parents and his son, Christopher Wade Dean. He is survived by his daughter Courtney Dean, brother Randy and wife Sophia Dean, Aunt Barbara and husband Wayne Rhea, Aunt Patsy and Husband Jim Neyland, and his dear friend Patty Harris.
