Dwain Douglas Nowlin, 66 years old, of Star City, AR, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Born May 15, 1955, in Jefferson County, AR, Dwain was the eldest son of the late Douglas and Irene Nowlin. He was retired from his used car business, D & D Auto Sales, in Star City, AR. He was of the Baptist faith; loved hunting and fishing, riding his side by side, and camping. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and younger brother, Kenneth Nowlin. He is survived by three sisters, Linda Trichell of Star City, AR Sharon Pierce of Colorado Springs, CO and Teresa Bricker of Fayetteville, NC; two stepbrothers, J.T. Nowlin of Crossett, AR and Travis Nowlin of Star City, AR; and a stepsister, Mary Bisswanger of Ethel, AR. Due to Covid-19, there will be a graveside service at Hickory Grove Cemetery near Star City, AR at 10:00AM on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 with Bro. Jarrod Pettit officiating. A visitation will be 9:30-10:00AM Tuesday at the cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
