Bio
Was born and raised in Fentress County, Tn. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in his early teens. Attended several Colleges. While attending Eastern Ky, he met his first wife, they had one child, Joseph Muran Upchurch. After divorcing Will moved back to Indiana were he started in the Machinist trade. And met his second wife, Linda. After a very short marriage, and divorce he decided to move to Nashville, Tn in 1998. In 2002 Will met his third wife Kim(me) They were married Dec 11,2012 and were together until his death Oct 29th, 2021. He loved music of any genre, was a complete movie buff. History and documentaries and space. He could quote the whole Winston Churchill speach Never, never never !! He was a very caring, giving,loving man. He came into my kids lives and loved them as his own. We never use the word step, always my kids. Our grandkids loved their pepaw, and great grandchildren as well. Kainya a great granddaughter was at the hospital with us when he passed. While I cried no, no, no she gently stroked my arm and out of the mouth of a 4 year old babe she says "Nana, why are you crying? Pepaws with Jesus now."
Inscription
The double headstone reads Kim A and Will C Upchurch. It has a picture in the circle is of him and wife Kim when they first met. Inscribed is "Love Laughter and Happily Ever After"
