Norfolk Daily News, Norfolk, Nebraska - June 23, 1965, Page 9: Mrs. Schaecher dies in Norfolk hospital Humphrey - A prominent Humphrey resident, Mrs. George Schaecher, 65, died Tuesday evening at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, Norfolk where she had been ill for the past three weeks. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday from St. Francis Catholic church. The body will lie in state from 2 p.m. Thursday until time of the service. Rosary will be recited at 3 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Survivors include her husband George; mother, Mrs. Winkler of Madison, and four sons, Roland, Columbus, Eugene of Omaha, George Jr., of Yankton, S.D. and Larry a student at the University of Nebraska.
