Elsie F. Dollar, 88 of Mineola, Texas passed away on August 12, 2023 in Mineola, Texas. She was born on June 14, 1935 in Teague, Texas to the late Arthur Shanks and Onie Lancaster Shanks. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas. Elsie enjoyed reading and taught Sunday School at Central Baptist Church and led the singing. Her favorite time was spent with her family and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Dollar; brothers, Morris Shanks, Harold Shanks, Clarance Shanks, James Shanks; sisters, Mary Burge, Ruth Humphries; grandson; Johnathan. Elsie is survived by her son, Grady Dollar, Jr. and wife Linda of Golden, Texas; daughters, Diann Lee of Quitman, Texas, Susan Webb of Wake Village, Texas, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Joel Dollar, Joshua Dollar, Chris Lee, Timmy Lee, David Webb, Cauy Easley.
