Truman Adois Stanley (TA) was born on Aug. 18, 1925 in Cleburne, Texas, to William Harrison and Minnie Estella Weeks Stanley. Truman was a fantastic visual story teller with an infectious sense of humor. He told stories about the model T his family had, how he and his brothers tamed a mean billy goat, the cows he raised, and traveling for farm work during the Great Depression. He was drafted for WWII, but was dismissed due to his large flat feet. Truman opened A&B Lawn Mower and Bike shop on White Settlement Rd in Ft. Worth, Tx in the 1970's and served as an assistant pastor in a local church. He continued to work on mowers, bikes and soul winning into his late 80's. Truman's passion was preaching the gospel of Christ.
