Royce Wilburn Pinkert August 28, 1950 - October 31, 2021 Croley Funeral Home Royce Wilburn Pinkert passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence in Gilmer, Texas. He was born in Tahoka, Texas on August 28, 1950 to the late Melvin Louis Pinkert and Abby Ruth Kelley Pinkert. Royce served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he operated heavy machinery. Royce is survived his wife, Pam Pinkert; children and step children, Danial Tarkington, JohnD Tarkington, Royce "Bubba" Pinkert, Jr., Rebecca Lester and Michelle Harris as well as his grandchildren and his sister, Lonny Hemby. He is preceded in death by his parents. A visitation for Royce will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home – Gladewater, 401 North Center. Royce will be laid to rest in the Northwest Louisiana Veteran Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana.
