Sentinel-Record, The (Hot Springs, AR) - Friday, July 27, 2018 Donald Allen Spoon Jr., 51, of Hot Springs, passed away on July 18, 2018. He was born in Rock Hill, S.C., on Feb. 27, 1967. Allen was a loving father, brother and friend. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved cooking, racing with the P&B racing team and running derbies with friends. His greatest joys in life were his children and his dog. He was predeceased by son, Justin Eric Spoon; father, Donald Spoon Sr.; grandparents, David and Betty Spoon. Survivors include son, Colby Spoon (Emily), of Hot Springs; daughter, Kaley Spoon, of Hot Springs; brother, Danny Spoon (Felisha), of Hot Springs; sister, Carolyn House (Dean), of Hot Springs; lifelong friend, Rodney Ocker (Natalie), of Hot Springs; his beloved companion, Dale Dog; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial will be held at 6 p.m. Monday July 30, at Walnut Valley Church.
