Smithville, Tenn. W. G. (GOLDEN) FITTS, age 80, died at his home near Temperance Hall, Tuesday after an illness of several years. Mr. Fitts was a well known prosperous farmer and highly esteemed by the people of his community. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning by Elder R. L. Whitlock and burial was in the Hayes Cemetery near his home. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, R. L. Fitts of Smithville, and the following daughters, Mrs. J. M. Young of Smithville, Mrs. Eula Allen of Cedar Hill, Mrs. Delia Judkins of Nashville, Mrs. Ida McBride , Mrs. Novella Winnard, Mrs. Myrtle Hendrixson and Miss Ocie Fitts of Temperance Hall.
