Joe Dean August 12, 1947 - April 14, 2015 Joe Lynn Dean, age 67 of Fort Worth and former Irving resident, died on April 14, 2015. He was born on August 12, 1947 in Prosper, Texas to William Dean and Mary Ann Williford Dean. Joe grew up in Denton and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Along with being a loving father and grandfather, Joe worked for Love Monument in Denton for 15 years and will be remembered as a good ol' country boy with a heart of gold. Joe loved all of the things that reminded him of his youth and upbringing in the country and especially enjoyed going to Denny's for coffee and company, visiting with people and observing them and the world around him. He was true family man that will be forever missed by his family. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and left to cherish his memory are his daughters Carrie Dean and Tammie Williams of Irving; granddaughter Ashley DuShane of Fort Worth; granddaughters Heather and Lindsay DuShane both of Irving; great grandson Rylan Jourden of Fort Worth; brothers William Dean, Jr., Albert Dean and his wife Donna, Jerry Dean and Michael Dean. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:15 AM on April 20, 2015 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Browns Memorial Funeral Home
