Sherry L. Wright, 76, of Hutchinson, Kan., died Dec. 8, 2007 at Thorne Care Center at Wesley Towers in Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 10, 1931, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Bert A. and Pearl E. Campbell Martin. She graduated in 1949 from Cheyenne High School and was a 1953 graduate of the University of Wyoming with a pharmacy degree. She married Joseph W. "Joe" Wright on Sept. 16, 1955, in Cheyenne She worked as a pharmacist at OSCO Drug. Mrs. Wright was a member of Countryside Baptist Church in Hutchinson, Chi Omega Sorority, University of Wyoming Alumni Association and Kansas Pharmacist Association. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Shelly Wright of Carrollton, Texas, and Kenneth and Kimberly Wright of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Linda Ezell of Arlington, Texas; and four grandchildren, Austin Wright, Michael Wright, Brock Wright and Leah Wright. Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wright on Jan. 4.; and her parents. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Countryside Baptist Church with Pastor Destry M. Cowell and Pastor Fred Lewis officiating. Graveside services will be in Sherley Cemetery in Sulphur Springs.
