Obituary for Rose M. Holubec Rose Marie Holubec, 89, passed peacefully in her sleep on October 29, 2021. Viewing will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10 am to 12 pm, a Rosary will be recited at 12 pm. Holy Rosary Catholic Church will provide a luncheon after Rosary until services. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Rose Marie Weichert was born on February 3, 1932 in Frenstat, TX, one of four children born to Fritz Otto Weichert and Rose Emily (Popek) Weichert. Rose Marie met and later married Gaylin Kiel Holubec of Caldwell, TX on April 16, 1955 together they had five children: Teresa Holubec Felder, Mark Holubec, Laurie Holubec-Wert, Nancy Holubec, and Jason Holubec. After marriage they made Houston their home. Rose Marie and Gaylin were married for 31 years before Gaylin was called home to be with the Lord in 1986. Rose Marie is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Gaylin Holubec; brothers, Leo Weichert and Joe Weichert; sister, Estelle Weichert Hahn; and both her parents. Rose Marie is survived by her five children and five grandchildren, Nathan, Kayden, Avery, Daniel, and Ashley and the late grandson, Justin. Rose Marie also has seven great grandchildren, Chase, Ethan, Onixx, Damion, Carissa, Landry, Braden, and one great great grandson Miles. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
