Rev. C. E. Cooley, Jr. was born September 10, 1931 and was called home to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 2, 2021. He is survived by his four children; Charles E. Cooley, III and Marilyn, Ronda Cooley Miller and husband John; Jonathon David Cooley and wife Teryan; Carol Cooley LaManna and husband Joseph; adopted daughter Brenda Champagne Miller and husband Paul; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren with another on the way. Those who have gone on before him are his wife of 67 years, Joy Settles Cooley; his father and mother, Charles E. Cooley, Sr. and wife Lettie; his brother, B.J. Cooley and wife Jozelle; his sister Donna Laura Cooley Russ and husband Gordon; his sister Marie Cooley Anderson and husband Perry, Jr. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 P.M. at First Pentecostal Church, 120 Mahlon Street, DeRidder, Louisiana.
