Born Anastasia Jareski in Prussian Poland, the daughter of Anton and Rosa (Schultz) Jareski. Married (1) Mr. Thompson. Married (2) William Mortimer on May 15, 1906 at Chicago, Ill. ''''''''''''''' Arlington Heights Herald (Arlington Heights, Ill.), July 10, 1958, p. 19, col. 5 Anna A. Mortimer Mrs. Anna A. Mortimer, mother of William J. Mortimer Jr., superintendent of Cook county public highways, died July 2 in Sherman hospital, Elgin. The family were all former Mt. Prospect residents and at the time of her death, Mrs. Mortimer was residing on Algonquin rd., Barrington township. She was born March 12, 1878 in Columbus, Neb. Her husband died in 1955; besides her son, she leaves a daughter, Irene Kramer of Westmont, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Thomas and Rita. Mrs. Mortimer was in state at the Lauterburg and Oehler chapel in Arlington Heights and funeral mass was held in St. Anne church, Barrington, Saturday. Al Saints cemetery was the place of burial.
