Elizabeth Marie (Langhamer) Kotrola passed away peacefully on October 3, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born in Schulenburg, Texas, April 17, 1931 to John and Pauline Langhamer. She was married to Jerry H. Kotrola (deceased, 2012) for 56 years. She is survived by her children, Brenda Tindall (Steve), Mark Kotrola (Roxanne), Perry Kotrola (Jennifer) Pam Kelley (Allen), Pat Kotrola (Lucia, deceased), 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, her brother-in-law Frank Kotrla, and her beloved dog, Pokey. Elizabeth was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many (as she never met a stranger). She worked in the food service industry for many years. She enjoyed quilting with her friends at Saint Joan of Arc, in Kirby. In recent years, she was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She enjoyed league bowling, but most of all she enjoyed family gatherings, casino trips and traveling abroad. She will be dearly missed. A Rosary for Elizabeth will be held at 10:00 AM at Saint Jerome Catholic Church, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Saint Jerome Cemetery following the Mass.
