The Snyder Banner, Snyder, NE - Thur, 1 Jan 1942 Mr. William Beaumont received word of the death of his mother, Mrs. Nancy Beaumont, at Malmo, Tuesday morning at the age of 90 years and 9 months. Mrs. Beaumont suffered a stroke on the 20th day of November and died December 30. Mrs. Beaumont, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McDaniel, was born in South Carolina, after her marriage to James Beaumont they moved to Saunders County where she has made her home until the time of her death. To this union was born ten children, five daughters and five sons. One daughter was seriously burned and died at the age of two years. Her husband passed away in April 1934. Surviving are four daughters, Mary Ann Hentges of Fremont, Nancy of Kansas City, Mo., Julia of Boise, Idaho, and Lizzie, Mrs. Will Hesse, of Pleasant Valley; five sons, William of Snyder, Alfred of Salem, Oregon, Joe of Boise, Idaho, John of Glencoe, and Pete of Omaha; and one brother at Clarks. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home in Wahoo, with interment in the Fleming cemetery near Malmo. Fremont Morning Guide, Fremont, NE - Tue, 6 Jan 1942 Malmo - Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Beaumont, 89, were held at the Hult funeral home at Wahoo. Mrs. Beaumont had been ill for several months. She died Tuesday at her home. She was born March 5, 1852 at Greenville, S.C., and homesteaded on a farm near Malmo. She was married to James Beaumont April 28, 1874. Her husband preceded her in death 8 years ago. Surviving are nine children, Mrs. Mary Anne Hentges of Fremont, Will Beaumont of Snyder, Mrs. Nancy Simmons of Kansas City, Mo., Alfred Beaumont of Oregon, Pete Beaumont of Omaha, Joe Beaumont of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Julia Middleton of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Lizzie Hesse of Dodge and John Beaumont of Scribner. One child died in infancy. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and a brother, James McDaniels of Cedar Bluffs. www.newspapers.com wed James in 1874 Wahoo NE
