James M. Huettner, 79 February 17, 1942 ~ October 13, 2021 Jim was born on February 17, 1942 in Cornlea, Nebraska the son of Joseph and Lorraine Huettner. He met Dorothy Hall in David City, Nebraska and the couple were united in marriage on September 23, 1961. The couple lived in Omaha, Nebraska, Gary, Indiana and Blair, Nebraska before settling in Kennard in 1974. Jim enjoyed working on cars and driving his Corvette. He worked for over 37 years as an ironworker, retiring in 1997. James M. Huettner age 79 of Kennard, Nebraska passed away October 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, and his sister Barbara. Left to cherish his memory are his children: daughter Maxine and husband Mike McKern, and son James Huettner Jr. and fiancé Penny Gentry; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 11 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday October 16 at 12:00PM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Graveside service will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, October 15 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.
