Bio
After his military service he was employed in Civil Service for twenty six years before retiring. Doyce was a member of Lamar Baptist Church in Arlington. After the death of his wife he moved to Beaumont where he resided, at Collier Park Retirement. Upon a short illness he was moved to Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, where he passed away. He was a husband, dad, and grandfather that could fix anything from skinned knees to our refrigerators. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Jones and Andy and Edna Blackwell and his most precious love, his wife, of forty two years, Bonnie Jones. Survivors include Gay Lynn Sierra and husband, Ernest, Diane Parrett and husband, Mike and Angie Chapman and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Jimmy and Michael Robinett, Nathan and Nicole Parrett, Ethan and Joshua Chapman; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva Krum and Linda Simmons and husband Tommy.
