Bio

Web, age 82, died at Care Initiatives Hospice in Ottumwa. He was the son of Barendt and Alberta (Tukker) Vroegh. He graduated from Eddyville (IA) High School in 1957 and served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Gysbert Vroegh, Marie McDonough, Pearl Mae Sheets, Catherine Cox, Bernice Heaton, and Clarence Vroegh. A memorial service was held at Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa. Cremation has taken place. Military Honors were given by Oskaloosa American Legion and V.F.W. during the service. Inurnment was in Highland Cemetery at Eddyville.
