Bio

Vaclav Svoboda arrived in the United States on December 7, 1907, aboard a ship called the Hannover. He immigrated through Galveston, Texas, after departing from Bremen, Moravia, on November 14, 1907. He was 64 years of age at the time and listed his occupation as "Farmer." With him was his 55-year old wife, Barbara. Also with him was a 34 year-old man named Franz, a 23 year-old man named Jan, a 17 year-old woman named Angela, and an 11-year old girl named Agnes.
