Steven "Steve" T. Hruby, 62, of Hordville, Nebraska died at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Solt-Wagner Community Room. Burial of ashes will be at a later date. Steve was born on August 14, 1959 to Edward and Charlotte (Williams) Hruby in Ord, Nebraska. He grew up and attended school in Ord, graduating in 1997. He then entered the United States Navy on May 5, 1977 and was honorably discharged on June 15, 1979. He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Dainton of Scottsbluff, NE and Stephanie Hruby (Kevin Brown) of Central City, NE; one brother, David (Midge) Hruby of Acme, WA; two sisters, Cecelia Royle of Grand Island, NE and Madelyn Hruby of Omaha, NE; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son- Zebulin Hruby.
