Frankie Lee Miksch, 70, of Thrall, TX passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX, after a long-fought battle with multiple health issues. Frankie was born in Taylor, TX on December 15, 1950 to the late Bennie and Della (Pasemann) Miksch. He graduated from Thrall High School in 1969 and attended Southwest Texas State University Now: Texas State and majored in Ag. He married Robin Pace on April 5, 1975; they were blessed with 46 years of marriage. He loved the land and farmed and ranched up until his health issues prevented him from continuing to do so. He also loved fishing and hunting. Frankie was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church of Sandoval. Frankie was a simple Christian man who loved his family and friends. He loved that his son, Brian followed in his footsteps as a farmer and he was so proud that his daughter, Leigh Ann reached her goal of becoming an RN. He loved being "Grandpa" to his 3 grandchildren and enjoying watching their activities.He especially enjoyed spending time with his 2 brothers, family and friends on Sundays out at the farm, cooking and playing dominoes. He also enjoyed visiting on the phone with is best friend, Will Laubach, trying to resolve world problems. Frank is survived by his wife, Robin Miksch; his son, Brian Miksch and fiancée Millie Miller all of Thrall, TX. His daughter, Leigh Ann Miksch of Temple, TX. His grandchildren, Makayla Miksch of Lubbock, Texas; Hailey Miksch and Case Miksch of Thrall, TX. His sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Frank Hines of Sandoval, TX; his two brothers and sister-in-law's, Ronny and Roxane Miksch of Thrall, TX and Terry and Cindy Miksch of Taylor, TX and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Della (Pasemann) and both his paternal and maternal grandparents and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Condra Funeral Home is in charge of his service. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 7, 2021 at 9:00 am with the funeral Service beginning at 10:00 am and burial following at Taylor City Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Will Laubach, Dennis Mikulencak, Jerry Decker, Calvin Jechow, Billy Sladek, all of his cousins in both the Pasemann and Miksch families and his classmates from Thrall High School Class of 1969. Travis Williams, Cory Miksch, Jacob Miksch, Keith Crabb, Danny Jansky and Lucas Mikulencak. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes you consider making a memorial donation in Frank's honor to Thrall Volunteer Fire Department; Zion Lutheran Church of Sandoval or charity of your choice. The family of Frankie Miksch wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Scott and White Round Rock, TX and Temple, TX and especially to his longtime physician Dr. Nathan Cohen.
