Unmarked Grave Obituary from The Dallas Morning News, April 19, 1951: "Arnold Boyd, 61, of Wood County, a former employee of The Dallas News, died Wednesday after a long illness. Boyd, who retired a year ago, was a cook in the cafeteria of the News' old building on Lamar Street. He also operated Pop Boyd's Cafe, on Main Street near Market, for many years. He had been in the restaurant business all his life. He was born near Winnsboro. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Shady Grove, Wood County, and burial there will follow".
