~This is a memorial site only~ Sine's parents are Willum Christian Larsen and Christiane Sophie Christensdatter, both from Denmark. When Sine was 15 months old, the family came across the ocean on the ship "Kenilworth". When they arrived in America, they traveled down to Nebraska and joined the Andrew H. Scott Company to go to Utah with. The journey West began on August 2, 1866. The next day, little Sina Dina passed away. The was no information found that told of why she passed away. In all of the histories, it just said she passed away and buried in a little grave by the wayside. In one of the company journals it said, in part: "About 30 people including the infant, Sina Dina, daughter of Brother and sister Williamsen, died on the journey and were buried along the side of the road in unmarked graves."
