Bio

~This is a Memorial Site only~ Daniels parents are William Taylor and Mary Ann Dean from England. The family boarded the ship Arkwright to come to America. While on the ship, Mary Ann delivered their 12th child, a son, Daniel Arkwright Taylor. Named after the ship they were traveling over the ocean on. The family then went to Nebraska to join the Daniel Thompson Company to journey to Utah. The company left July 24. The company had only been traveling for almost two weeks, when little Daniel Arkwright passed away. Sadly the little 1 ½ month Daniel is laid to rest by the Platte River in Nebraska. He is recorded in the companies journal under Saints to passed away on the journey West: "Daniel Arkwright Taylor, infant, Aug. 4".
