Bio

Milton Sturm passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Bartlett, Texas. Milton was born on July 25, 1940, in Holland, Texas, to the late Flora and H.W. Sturm. Milton was a lifelong member of the Saint John Lutheran Church in Bartlett. Milton enjoyed being in the sun, as the outdoors was his heaven on earth. He dearly loved the dairy farm where he grew up and worked. Throughout his life, Milton defined what it meant to be a true friend to others. He treasured his dog, Buster, who was his faithful companion and helped him get up when he fell down. Milton will forever be remembered for his big smile and willingness to always lend a hand to others in need. In his later years, Milton displayed a softness that many came to treasure, as he courageously battled Dementia. During this time, he taught patience and allowed his family to show him a small measure of the service he had long shown to them. Milton is survived by his sister, Lois Dawson, and several nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Sturm, sisters, Florence Kalenda and Lola Braun.
