Bio

The son of George Turner and his first wife Mary Musadore "Polly" Hamilton, he was named after his father's brother. Eli married Elizabeth Parsons on 24 Jan 1838 in Amity County, Mississippi and had three known children: James born about 1840, Mary Jane "Mollie" born 18 Nov 1842 who married James Andrew Jackson Nutt and Elizabeth born about 1848 Eli's second marriage was to Elizabeth Lavica "Aunt Sis" Wadsworth on 21 Jun 1876 in Leake County, Mississippi. They did not have any children
